Year 4 performing the Haka dance

The Haka is a traditional ancestral war cry, dance or challenge from the Māori people of New Zealand. It is a posture dance performed by a group, with vigorous movements and stamping of the feet with rhythmically shouted accompaniment.

Year 4 learnt a short haka dance and song (in the original language) as part of our recent dance module in P.E. We think our performances would have made the Maoris proud. Miss Middleton and Mr. de Comarmond were certainly proud teachers. Enjoy.
