Laude House System is back!
This year, Laude San Pedro has brought back the House System! North, South, East and West are our four wonderful teams which bring together students from diverse year groups, systems and ages. The purpose of this system is to do annual events to involve all students. As for this day, two house events have been hosted: a magazine and a basketball tournament.
As South´s House Captain, I would like to express how thankful and happy I am with Laude regarding the comeback of the houses. It is lovely to meet up with different ages as well as with people I wouldn’t normally work with. But I am not the only one learning, every member of each of the four houses learns to be more open minded since they are working with older and younger people.
The positive impact this system has brought is amazing! Students are actively participating in the events and it’s beautiful to admire how each experience creates a new friendship, laugh, memory or story. The bridges that are being built are the perfect proof that we need to keep breaking boundaries between systems and ages, because if there is one thing that the houses have taught us, it is that together we are stronger.
