We are pleased to introduce Arancha Barrasa, a committed education professional from Spain whose international career and leadership experience bring a truly global perspective to education. Having lived and worked in different countries, she speaks Spanish, French and English fluently, enabling her to connect with diverse school communities and families.
With seven years of previous experience in Belgium, she served as Head of Primary and EYFS at an international school in Brussels, where she played a key role in developing high-quality learning environments and supporting both teachers and students. Her leadership approach is rooted in collaboration, inclusion and a strong commitment to the holistic development of young learners.
She believes that every child is unique and deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. Guided by this philosophy, she works to create motivating, enriching and safe educational experiences that foster each student’s academic, social and emotional growth.
Thanks to her experience, international outlook and passion for education, she makes a significant contribution to building strong learning communities where children feel valued, supported and empowered to thrive.
Nicky is an experienced Primary educator with 28 years of teaching and leadership experience in both the UK and Spain. As a qualified senior leader, she has been a valued member of the school community since 2004, demonstrating a consistent commitment to its development and success as a leading school of choice for families.
As part of the Senior Leadership Team, she works closely with academic leaders to drive strategic improvements in learning outcomes, while championing the essential role of wellbeing in every child’s educational journey.
She believes that positive relationships are the foundation of successful learning and is passionate about building a strong, inclusive school community where academic achievement, personal development and wellbeing go hand in hand.

Responsible media use
Clear consent procedures ensure photos and recordings used for school promotion respect family permissions, protecting student privacy while sharing school life responsibly.
Phone-free learning
